Sales Associate

Ascendant LLC is now accepting applications for Sales Associate. Founded in 2021 by an attorney and web3-enthusiast, Ascendant helps companies raise capital through tokenization and distribution fractional ownership interest using proven and tested strategies that investors recognize. Our team includes Solidity experts, attorneys, business development specialists, and investors.

Our aim is to help small businesses to take advantage of the alternative financing options made available by safely transitioning from web2 to web3. We also aim to protect investors, by meticulously auditing the technology behind the web3 venture and devising sensible, scalable tokenomics and in-depth market analysis.

We believe that we are just beginning to scratch the surface of web3’s capabilities. As more and more projects get “tokenized,” web3 technology will be viewed as less of a novelty, and more as a necessary adaptation, as it offers borderless commerce and fundraising, and a trustless, democratized community infrastructure.

We are looking for a few additional sales associates to join our highly skilled business development team in order to help us build and scale relationships with leading Web3 creators and companies. You will work closely with our marketing team and developers to generate and seize new growth opportunities. In this role, you are responsible for demonstrating the capability of Ascendant offerings, and foster long-term relationships with clients by providing world-class support.

 Responsibilities:

  • Our Business Development team works closely with marketing and engineering teams to ensure Ascendant’s customers receive the best user experience, expert advice, and are successful.

  • You will work closely with regional Business Development Leads to identify and convert new leads while driving the organic growth of the existing customer base. The main activities include but are not limited to attending events, filtering leads, demonstrating products, creating technical proposals and driving our onboarding process

  • You will be expected to be the subject matter expert of both Ascendant products and the related domains, e.g. NFTs, gas optimization, DeFi. You also need to be able to conduct compelling demonstrations of the impact of Ascendant solutions with respect to particular customer pain points through all sorts of interactions .

  • You’re responsible for ensuring customers receive prompt and effective resolution of questions, problems, and requests - be it in Discord, Telegram, Slack, or Email. You will also ensure customers are up to date with the latest and greatest from Ascendant

  • You will use your first-hand knowledge of our customers to inform our product roadmap, working with all parts of the company to ensure our product continues to meet our customers needs

  • In a nutshell, this role is meant for someone with an enthusiasm for the web3 space who is looking to work with multiple sides of the business, with the main focus on delivering results for customers

  • The focus of this role will be to understand prospect needs, provide solutions and shape feedback into product decisions

Preferred Experience:

  • Ethereum/Solana and/or EVM Chains — knowledgeable of the core concepts in the space

  • Has participated in an NFT or other web3 project

  • 3+ years sales/marketing experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build solid working relationships across the team — from individual contributors to the leadership

  • Excellent people skills to monitor and measure customer performance
