How to Add a Product for the Payments SDK in CryptoCadet V2

CryptoCadet allows merchants to list and manage products directly inside the dashboard, integrating them seamlessly with the Payments SDK. Whether you’re testing a small storefront or scaling up, the product system is designed to be simple and flexible.

1. Where to Find It

Navigate to Add-ons → Products in the dashboard.
Here, you’ll see a table of your existing products, including:

  • Product ID

  • Name

  • Price

  • Icons for Edit ✏️, Settings 🔧, and Delete 🗑️

2. Editing a Product

You can edit a product’s:

  • Name (e.g., change “Wilson Basketball” → “Spalding Basketball”)

  • Price

  • Product ID (must be unique to your product catalog)

📌 Product IDs are not auto-generated. They’re for internal use only, so use a consistent convention based on your inventory or SKU system. These IDs are not visible to your customers.

After editing:

  • Click Update

  • You’ll see a “Product updated successfully” message

  • A confirmation email and in-app notification (🔔 bell) will be sent

3. Free Plan Limitations

If you're using the Free Plan, you are limited to three (3) products.

🧪 This is sufficient for testing the integration, but if you're planning to build a full store or offer multiple services, consider upgrading.

Plans are available in Settings → Plan with additional features unlocked at higher tiers.

4. Deleting a Product

To delete:

  • Click the 🗑️ icon next to the product

  • Confirm the action

Once deleted:

  • You'll see “Product deleted successfully”

  • An email and bell notification will be sent confirming removal

5. Adding a New Product

To add a product:

  1. Enter a Product ID (e.g., icecream001)

    • This is just for you—customers never see it.

  2. Give the product a Name (e.g., “Chocolate Ice Cream”)

  3. Set the Price (e.g., 5.99)

  4. Click “Add Product”

You’ll immediately see:

  • “Product added successfully”

  • A notification at the top right

  • A confirmation email
