How to create a universal payment link in CryptoCadet V2

CryptoCadet V2 lets you generate lightweight, one-time payment links—called Universal Links—that work across any messaging platform. Whether you’re sending a Telegram DM, WhatsApp message, Facebook chat, or embedding it behind a button on a webpage, this feature gives you the full power of the CryptoCadet Payments SDK without any code.

✅ What is a Universal Link?

A Universal Link is a simplified checkout URL that you can share anywhere. It’s ideal if:

• You don’t have a website

• You don’t want to integrate the SDK directly (yet)

• You need a quick, no-code way to accept crypto payments

This feature gives you all the benefits of a traditional payment processor—product selection, pricing, wallet detection, shipping fields—instantly accessible through a URL.

🔧 Step-by-Step: Creating a Universal Link

1. Go to the Universal Link Section

• Log into your CryptoCadet Dashboard

• Navigate to Universal Link from the sidebar

🧠 Note: This interface looks similar to the invoice feature—but no recipient email is required here. That’s the key difference.

2. Select or Create a Product

You have two options:

• Select an existing product from your list

• Create a new product directly in the link builder

3. Optional Settings

No Fixed Price

• Enable this if you want the buyer to enter the amount themselves

• Use cases: auctions, donations, make-an-offer pricing

Quantity Field

• Enable if buyers should be able to purchase more than one unit

• Example: Selling multiple books or t-shirts

Shipping Address

• Enable for physical goods

• Automatically prompts the buyer for their address during checkout

4. Click “Create Payment Link”

Once all fields are set:

• Click Create Payment Link

• You’ll see a success message and the link will be generated

💾 Be sure to copy and store the link somewhere safe. If lost, you’ll need to regenerate it.

5. Share the Link

The link redirects to a checkout portal view. That’s what your buyers will see.

You can:

• Paste it in a chat

• Use it as a button link on a site

• Add it to an email

• Send it via DM or SMS
